Even if RCB lose to either MI or KKR, they can still make it provided they beat KXIP, DD and one among KKR/MI. KKR and MI finish on 22 points each and SRH on 17.RPS lose all their five remaining matches and end at 10.
GL and KXIP win only two out of their six and end at 10.DD win three matches in the second half and finish with 10.In such a scenario, RCB will end at 11 points while RPS, GL, KXIP and DD finish with 10 each.
A combination of all the above would leave RCB in fourth place with 13 points, and they will now pray that all the results go their way. More importantly, they have to ensure they win all their games, something that, given their torrid form, would be easier said than done.
