Warner bats through, Sunrisers make 159

This is match-winning total, says VVS Laxman. Even if he's wrong, he won't be by a long way. This pitch was peculiar. Not even the new ball came on nicely on it and in that context, David Warner has played a world class innings. It's only the second time in the IPL that he has batted through the innings.

He was floundering in the end, really struggling to keep going after running all those tough runs. But he has done the job for his team after they were in danger of being blown away. Naman Ojha was responsible for the switch though. On a day when Warner needed time to get used to the pitch, Ojha came in and played breezily to change the momentum after Axar's double-strike. They could have easily gone into panic after Yuvraj fell, but it wasn't the case in the end. They owe it all to that partnership. We'll be back shortly for the chase.
